since my last post. We have been too busy.
Here is the list in no particular order:
- Joel had a surprise 30th b-day party for me at my parent's. I was surprised, it was very nice.
- In the last 3 weeks Joel and I have been home one night at the same time (not including weekends). Either him traveling or me, sometimes both in the same week. I am off to Texas again tomorrow (found that out on Friday).
- We celebrated our 5th anniversary on Friday (our anniversary is next Saturday, but you do what you can when you have time.) My parent's took the girls over night...this was our first night away from them, it was different, but good.
- We are looking forward to a three day weekend and then the following week we are taking our summer vacation. Yeah!
- We have been enjoying the many festivals in Buffalo over the summer. We will be making our first trip to the wing fest next weekend.
- Emerson and Brynn are interacting a lot more. If we could just get Emerson to call her Brynn instead of baby we would be good. Could be worse right?
Alright off to finish packing.

You two are such great parents... even though you're exhausted & probably would love to just "sit," you're out & about with the girls showing them cool stuff! Those fish are fantastic! Safe travels to/fro the Lone Star State.

Happy Anniversary to you guys! Sounds like you are having a busy summer... sorry to hear you have had to travel so much lately -- I agree with Jodie, I would be losing my marbles!
Makena and Brynley call Cambrie "baby" as well. I say Cambrie and they look at me like "what". The twins also call each other sissy instead of by names. We almost have Brynley saying Makena, but Makena has no interest in saying Brynley's name.
